today my son made 3 weeks old. i have a little discharge from the side of my incision. the doctor said this is normal because i do not want the fluid to build up and get infected. to me it looks like my staple came undone. i don't feel any pain unless i touch it. the doctor also said this is normal because it is a major cut. i am not taking any pain killers. my questions are, am i expecting a miracle, meaning a fast healing process? , has this happened to anyone? and should i get a second opinion?

I was told to call the doctor or the maternity floor if I had any discharge coming from my incision.
