I think the shot should have worked under you circumstances, especially if you are breastfeeding. What did the nurse or doctor tell you about when the shot took effect? I am always amazed though when ladies can handle sex so soon after birth and surgery! The last thing on my mind 2 weeks after my c's was sex. I didn't want anything to cause me any more pain!

he said it would take 5 days to take. im just scared that my body is still wide open. but ya im goin to take a pegnancy test in like 2 weeks just to make sure.

You should be just fine, but a test never hurts! How is your baby? How are you feeling? Did you have a boy or a girl?

cece i had sex 6 days after my c section i also got the shot and was breastfeeding and no baby on the way (whew) don't be afraid to talk to your doctor the time line they give you is a "suggestion" no one is going to get mad at you for doing what you were comfortable with...good luck

I was told no sex for 3 weeks.. more for recovery reasons.. .I think I waited longer.. too tired, still recovering.. etc. Talk with your doctor and if you are nervous about it.. use back up methods.

I had a cute lil baby boy 6-11 he was a lil onw no hair at all! lol it was so funny because im black and my boyfirend is whit so when our baby came out with no hair we could not stop laughing. im goin to wake one more week to take a test. but i feel fine. and what is funny is that my boyfirnd is more scared to have sex then me.
