Incision Site Puffing Up Maybe Scar Tissue?.

Hi there I had my c/s about 9 days ago and I have a quick question about the healing process! My incision site is healing very well, in fact I'm healing very well, I hardly have any pain except when I get out of bed b/c my abs don't work anymore and I feel like I'm going to pull everything apart in there. Anyone else get that?. My qusetion is that my incision seems to be puffing out and it feels kinda hard underneath. I think it may just be the fluid setteling or scar tissue developing. Can anyone tell me what is going on?. I have little sharp zaps every now and then but I think it's the nerves reconnecting, but no pain otherwise, any ideas?. Thanks girls, and is ther anything else I should know for the future of the healing process over the next 5 wks?,. Thankyou!

I was the same way, My scar is raised up on one sida and flat on the other. Your going through everything normally. Dont worry

my scar is still puffed up 22 months later i think its normal healing phase your going through and have nothing to worry about!!!

Thanks!!!! How long until it goes away?. Pls tell me it does! LOL! I'm glad it's normal, they don't really tell you what to expect, esp when it's done in a hurry!!! Thanks again.

It has been 6 months and my cut is still sticking out. It's weired. and after my c section, I caught a cold and I had to cough so many times. It was so painfull because I had no muscle and everytime i coughed I felt like crying.
