My 2nd C-section...?

im 6 months and in august i plan to have my 2nd C-section, last time everything went amazing, clean cut, healed super fast and didnt feel a thing!, but the C-section wasnt my problem the epideral was.... see the hole didnt close 100% and my spinal fluid leaked out, it caused MASSIVE "spinal headaches" that even once pumped full of pain medications, it didnt even touch the pain. has anyone ever heard of someone having a c-section without an epideral and just being put out instead. my mother suggusted it, but i dont know if they can do that =S. i would loovee that! and totally would make my doctor do it that way if he could.

I was under general anesthesia for my 3rd baby's birth because I had low platelets... too low to safely do a spinal. You would have to ask your doctor if it's rigth for you. One downside is that noone can be in there with you. My dh didn't care for that part :-(

Hi, I am pregnant with my 2nd child and are contemplating a c-section, I was put under general anaesetic when I had my first, and I think it depends where you live as to wether you dh can be there or not, my dh was there for the whole thing he took photos and all, I guess it depends on your doctor and the hospital you will be having your baby in, different hospitals have different regulations.
