Period After CSection

I had a Csection Aug 26th. I stopped bleeding about 1 week after. And just this past week I have started having sex again. (TMI) Yesterday I noticed pinkish/ brownish blood after intercourse. Is that my period coming back, or is it something else?

It's possible your cervix is still sensitive from being pregnant. I got my period back 6 weeks after my c-section.

Hi LinLaceie - I'm post op 15 weeks, I had bleeding on and off too, I thought it had stopped 1 week post op and my midwife told me not to be so stupid! it will come back. But I only bleed occasionally, mostly once i'd been more mobile and active tht I'd start bleeding again. This went on for at least a couple of months! so its quite normal. I still havent had a 'period' but i'm breastfeeding which is also normal. Hope this helps.
