Yes, egg drop soup is definitely safe. I am assuming you are talking about the "instant" soups? They have alot of msg, but otherwise it's safe. If you are talking about from the restaurant or homemade, then it's also perfectly safe. The egg is cooked, so there's no worry about salmonella or whatever other bacterial problems associated with raw eggs.
