My Dr. recently told me that I had a BIG reserve of Vitamens in my body and that too many Vitamens can be as harmful as not enough. So, I stopped taking them for 6 days, (I only took a coral calcium supplement) and hopefully that wasn't too long a break from them. Do you think I could of hurt the Fetus?? Do you think too many Vitamens in your body is that bad for you anyways? I am back on the vitamens again without the Calcium as it is already in this particular vitamen. If you think you might know, please let me know.

too much vitamin A can be harmful to anyone Usually vit C is just eliminated normally. Vit Eshould be built up slowly in your system Too much minerals can cause toxicity in your blood. But we do need a prenatal supplement of some kind .

It is usually best to take a prenatal vitamin every day. Don't add extra vitamins unless you have medical guidance. Vitamin A & E cna build up to toxic levels, and way too much Vitamin C can cause too much tissue growth. Stich with your prenatal, and take it as directed (some are 3X a day).
