I am currently taking Enfamil's Expecta. It is an Omega vitamin, but not from fish (so no worries about mercury) and is suppose to help the baby's brain and eye development. There are ALOT of articles that DHA (Omega) supports the baby's brain/eye development and that is why they now include it in baby formula.

thx for your information. By the way where did u get it from. Is dr recommended?

Yes, all doctors recommend taking Omega. Ask your doctor for free samples. You can look it up in Enfamil's website and it's advertised in all the baby/pregnancy magazines. It's supposed to be sold at Target & Albertson's, but I couldn't find it, so I ordered it thru Enfamil directly. Expecta comes from the same maker of Enfamil formula.

My doc just gave me samples of this. She says that it is THE BEST, and should be taken daily.

You can buy flax for a lot cheaper and it has more nutrition benefits than the supplements. I get an organic ground golden flaxseed meal and sprinkle it on my cereal every morning. 4 tablespoons has about 1200 mg of omega-3s in it. And its about $5 a bag, 1 bag lasts me about 1.5 months.
