Good Suggestion-Snowballs For Women In Labor?

How many women out there would enjoy eating and having the option of a flavored snowball, instead of plain crushed ice during labor? I think hospitals should offer this as a comfort to us women. I think at this time we deserve to be pampered, right? I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and have always enjoyed them. My favorite is spearamint. Do you agree? Vote for snowball machines!!!

What about those Mr. freezes in those long plastic things. Is that something like the same thing as snowballs?

Mr. freezes does not come near to a snowball. I wish I could buy you (Maureen) one. It like a very fine ice (fluffy/lite) that is topped with any kind of flavor you wish. There are at least 50 flavors. They are very refreshing, especially when your feeling warm, such as in labor. You can also have chocolate or marshmallow or both on top. I'm glad to hear some votes from others because I do plan to mention this as a suggestion to my Dr. You ( Maureen ) I know some states do not make them and that could be why you have not got to try one, if you are in Md in the summer you can get one.
