I am not really understanding some of these questions .. and don't want to be "non-supportive".. BUT why would you think you couldn't eat pizza???? Think -- what would be bad for the baby?

she's probably talking about the mozerella chz. b/c its soft. to answer the question, yes... pizza is fine. i've eatten it my entire pregnancy and i'm almost 30wks.

what does mozz cheese being soft have to do with anything? I don't understand.

moz. cheese is not a soft cheese. Any cheese is safe to eat during pregnancy as long as it is not imported and pasteurized. Read the package, it will tell you if it's pasteurized. Pizza is totally fine during pregnancy!

mmm pizza!!!! yummmmmm... yes pizza can be unhealthy with all that shit that some ppl put on it... but if your kinda worried about it just put vege's and stuff on it.. you'll be fine.. i think everyone on here would die without pizza lol

When I get a craving for pizza I make one myself so it can be somewhat healthy. I get 98% fat free dough in a tube , reduced fat motz (I dont put tons on), and veggies. Last night I made a barbque chicken pizza that was amazing. with fresh chicken breast and little pieces of fat free ham. At least I know whats going on it and I can moniter how much of the unhealthy stuff I put on it.

Another option (not as yummy as nik´s but has worked for me) is using whole wheat pita bread as base, with home made tomato sauce and reduced fat mozzarella. Don´t use fat free because it tastes and feels like plastic.
