I don't really have a question, it's just something that I have learned about and want to share with you all. I have something called the MTHFR mutation and have had 2 miscarriages. My doctor put me on additional folic acid because he says that this mutation can cause me to not be able to metabolize folic acid as well in my body, so I need more of it. He also put me on a prenatal vitamin called Prenate Elite, because it's the only prenatal vitamin with folate that is already metabolized for me! I am now 24 weeks pregnant, and I am thankful for finding out about prenate elite with folate instead of that synthetic folic acid. Good luck to everyone trying to get pregnant!
