I can't see why it wouldn't be safe to eat fresh cream cake. It is raw eggs that are to be avoided and any eggs in a cake will be well cooked. And the ceam itself is ok :-) xxx

As long as the cream was not made from raw milk (unpasturized) which is highly unlikely
