I'm currently in another Country (China) and I had just became pregnant (5 weeks). I won't be heading back to the states until I'm in my 14th week, and in the meantime, My relatives here have been making me drink milk, fresh from the cow. They say it's really good for me and all the pregnant ladies here drink a cup of it everyday. (They still give birth to healthy babies) They boil the milk before drinking and I know unpasturized milk is very harmful, but does the boiling help? It must be fine, since the people here all gave birth to healthy babies..right?
Another thing is the parental vitamins. I bought one over the counter and I have no idea what it includes. The doctors recommend this vitamin, but I'm clueless about the specific number and percentage of vitamins in it. Is it OK that take this first and then when I go back home, take the "correct" parental vitamin from my family doctor?
