Like Sharon, I also have 2 older kids (almost 18 & 12 1/2). I didn't gain too much weight with my second by watching my diet, and not eating junk food. I decided to do this because I gained 52 pounds the 1st time (size 14 after his birth)and it was hard to get rid of it. (I really held on to most of it.) I believe my sucess the 2nd time is because I ate foods that were natural. I are whole grains and no processed foods or fast foods. I ate low fat foods (lots of vegetables), staying away from red meat entirely. My daughter was born very healthy and doesn't get sick much to this day. My whole family eats this way now. Hope this helps you. By the way, I now at the age of 42, wear a size 4 or 5 (Smaller than the 7 I started at when I was 20.)because of this and yoga. Good luck!
