I got some blood drawn about three days ago for a pregnancy test. Usually it leaves a little red mark, sometimes a bruise if the tech is a bit rough. But I have a bueatiful bruise that seems to have spread. I can now follow my vein by following the bruise formed at my elbow. It is almost five inches long. The center is a a faded red with the rest faded green...but was just wondering if being pregnant means I injure more easily or just don't heal as well.

Don't worry about it when I was about 13 wks preg they drew blood from me and I had the same type of bruise. With the puncture wound that turned within minutes to a large bruise and it did travel about 3-4 inches up the vein they took my blood out of. It took a long time to heal but don't worry about it too much unless you get like a fever or severe pain. Good luck
