it takes a couple weeks for it to actually show up on a pregnancy test. i took mine a week after i missed my period and it came up as a negative..then maybe a week or a week and a half later i took another one and it was a very faint line but it was still there. So it might be too soon to tell yet, i'd wait a bit ..but good luck =)

fertilityfriend dot com recommended waiting until 18 days past ovulation to test if you really want to make sure it is a bfp unless you know your cycles well. I misread the chart and ended up testing at 19 dpo. It went positive within 10 seconds. You might be able to get a positive by now (since your period is due). If you get a negative though, and still don't have a period in another week, then try again - it might be too early. So it all depends on whether a bfn would upset you.

i went to my doc after doin a pregnancy test at home which came neg..and at the doc..it came neg again..so my doc told me to come next week for another test cuz i might be early to have the postive sign shown...can that reallie be...i've been havin lil sypmtoms but im still worried wat the doc will say next week..
