GAS!

I have had some normal gas during pregnancy (I am now 12 weeks). I have been taking my daighter's infant gas drops. I figure if it is for babies, it should be all right... Yesterday, I called my dr's office to see if I could take Gas-X and was told not to take either, because they weren't on "the list". Their cure was to "take a walk". As nice as this sounds, I work in an office and cannot drop everything and go for a walk. Has anyone else's doctor approved any kind of gas medicine? Any other solutions?

I haven't had a positive test yet but am pretty sure I'm pregnant. If I am, I am 5-6 weeks gestation. I also have very bad gas. And it feels like bubbles passing through my stomach some times. I also get tingling in my abdomen. And unlike most who get constipation, I am very able to go, more so than normal.
