I would love to hear how you are handling heartburn! I am 6 months with #3 and I have never had heartburn this badly! Nothing I take seems to help. Let me hear your "home remedies".

hi tina. i too had the heartburn from you-know-where. so bad that i thought it might burn a hole in my esaphogus. id lie down after a drink of water and it would immediately some back as acid. finally i told my dr. and she said i could take tagamet..and oh man, i havent really had it since. if you do not want to take anything like that, go to the health food store and get chewable papaya enzymes...they actually work pretty well. eat a couple after anything you eat, they help digest. also, eating small frequent meals is supposed to help. feel better!

I'm sure you have had your baby already, but I thought I would post anyway.I am 22 weeks pregnant with my second child and I have started having heartburn already. It was absolutely horrible with my daughter,I chewed a lot of tums. With this baby I have been taking Zantac 75 before I go to bed (my doctor recomennded it),and no eating or drinking before lying down,it seems to help some.
