Hi everyone. This is my first post here. (An embarrassing one.)
I am 16 weeks pregnant with my third baby. I get awfully painful bloating, which makes me look about 6 months pg, not 4. It really hurts and my stomach feels paifully tight, as if I am about to expode. Everyone tells me to just "Let it rip!" I would...believe me! But , it never happens.

I usually get it after eating and the pain stays for many hours after that. Today, for 12 hours. when that happens, I have a hard time breathing. Does anyone feel what I'm going through?

I'm in the same boat!!! I'm only about 9 weeks and look like I'm about 4-5 sizes larger....its bad.

YES! It only gets worse! I am now 30 weeks and sometimes it's so bad my ribs will hurt and I feel like I can't inhale deeply! Try taking a walk / drinking sprite/ take Maalox (safe during pregnancy)...that will help me sometimes...good luck!

Drink a ton of water and take some Gas-X (I believe the main ingredient is simethicone, which is safe during pregnancy). Also, watch your diet--stay away from processed/packaged foods--eats lots of fresh fruits & veggies. I've had this type of painful gas and it is AWFUL! Taking a walk can also help--stay moving.
