IUD-Cyst Problem?

Yes, I too had the Mirena placed 8 months ago and now, as of 2 wks ago, am expericencing mild-moderate cramping, persistant, "discomfort" in my amdominal area and I was told a month ago that I have a small cyst on my left ovary! After 41 yrs, I;ve never had any cysts and find it odd that I do now, 8 months after the IUD was placed! I have an appt next Friday to have the IUD REMOVED! Has anyone else experienced this and if so, was it the IUD? ↑

I have had the iud for 3 years now and up until recently I havent had any problems. I haven't had a period for almost a year. Over the last two weeks I have had what seems to be intense menstrual cramping and a clear discharge. I was afraid of being pregnant and took a hpt which came out negative. Did u have any discharge with the cyst and did u have any other symptoms?
