I'm 34 weeks pregnant today and I was wondering something. I have been having popping and sharp pains in my lower back and groin area for about a week now. Is this normal? If not, should I go to the hospital or just wait and call my dr. in the morning?

I get that too, been having the pain since about 29 weeks. My groin is soo sore and everytime I turn pver at night I have horrible pain and my pelvis and tailbone crack about a million times, I'm 38w6d now and the pain has gotten worse since baby's head has been gradually getting lower and lower. I have to move so slowly in bed and sometimes get out ofthe bed just so I can turn on to my other side. So yea this pain is pretty normal, it's your muscles getting softer and weaker so that you can fit baby through pelvis and birth canal. Just do some good strengthening exercises for your back and pelvis after baby is born.

Thanks for the tip. I figured it was nothing serious I just wanted to ask to be sure. I've been to the point of throwing up so many times in the past few weeks from the pain alone! (TMI i'm sorry)
