Sore Breasts, Late Period, Many Bathroom Trips!

Hi, I've always had irregular periods & was taking birth control for it up until April/05. Since then, I'd say my periods have been quite regular, give or take a couple of days, so the week before my last period was expected, I started feeling the usual symptoms, except that now I'm roughly 5 days late, my breasts are STILL very sore and "full", I've been going to the bathroom more frequently, been feeling nauseous here and there but no vomiting and am getting some sharp abdominal pains at times. Should I be taking an at home test or wait a few more days to see if my period will creep up on me? We have been trying to conceive and I don't want to be dissappointed! Please Help!!

i really dont see how it could hurt to check.. you sound pregnant to me, i was nauseous when i first got pregnant, but i didnt vomit either-you dont have to vomit to have morning sickness, which also doesnt have to be in the morning. the abdominal pains kinda throw me off, although i have heard of it before, i havent experienced it yet and i'm 24 weeks.. i would buy an at home test if i were you, but dont tell your spouse that you bought it until you're pregnant.. if you aren't theres no point getting his hopes up, instead try thinking of neat ways to tell him you are, there are a couple of prego websites that give great ideas...

Hey Tiffany, Thanks for the advice, I did a test this morning but it came back negative!!!! We'll see though, I've read that quite a few tests come back negative even if you are pregnant. Patience is a virtue, so I'll have to remain patient til I find out for sure (whenever that is) that I actually am pregnant. I can't wait to see the look on my BF's face when I present him with a "Baby On Board" sign!

well i am 8 weeks pregnant sounds to me that YOUR PREGNANT !!!! go take a test if your not get off the birth control and keep trying

I've been off the pill since April/05 and had regular peiorods since then, and I actually just did a test AGAIN yesterday with another negative response, but I'll be going to the docs today to do sum more tests so we'll see!!! Anyway congrats to you Chancie!!!
