My wife is 17 weeks pregnant now. She's been experiencing terrible headaches for the past 10 weeks or so. They only seem to get worse and worse. At first taking a shower helped and she slept well through the night. Now she has a hard time sleeping and nothing helps. Tylenol does nothing. We saw a physical therapist, an eye doctor, and a family doctor. None were able to help. The family doctor did minor tests and concluded that she doesn't have a brain tumor. Her OB is no help either and at this point doesn't think it's pregnancy related. We are seeing another doctor next week and will request getting an MRI. The headaches she's getting are sharp pounding pains she gets every few minutes with light lingering headaches in between. Can anybody help? Did anybody experience similar headaches during their pregnancy? HELP!

I had headaches up till about 20 weeks. I went to a chiropractor and recieved massage therapy. That helped me a lot! best of luck!

Yes I had the same thing! Tylenol did nothing. Try going to Chiropractor also, as her neck probably is out of place. That's what I did and it did help, but still have occassional headaches. Now I go tot he Chiropractor every two weeks, as I have learned being pregnant really gets your alignment out of place and it can also help your hips from expanding too much! TRY IT!
