Back Pain And Swollen Feet

I found support hose (sometimes called compression hose?) worked well, but they are a real challenge to get on even when you're not pregnant. Try to stay off them as much as possible and put them up when you're sitting down. If you find they don't go down over night (even just being elevated to be at the same level as the rest of you should be enough), make sure to mention it to your doctor and if you can check your blood pressure at the drug store -- swelling can sometimes be sign of pregnancy-induced hypertension. Pretty rare, but it's a concerning enough condition that you should have it check out. Some swelling of course is very normal, but I developed pregnancy-induced hypertension so it does, however rarely, happen. |
