Dull Ache

Hi, I am five weeks preganant with first baby and wondering if it was normal to have dull aches in my vaginal area and for it to feel as though my womb is literally falling out if I don't keep my muscles clenched down there. Doctor said may be just my body adjusting, but nobody I have spoken to has experienced anything like this.
