HI, im 4 months pregnat and im experiencing alot of pain , i believe its just the baby, i also have alot of pressure on my backside..any tips? also this may sound stupid but does anyone know if i can use a heating pad on my belly?

Definately NO HEATING PAD ON YOUR STOMACH!!!!!! If your body temp gets above 101 degrees it can cause physical damage to the baby or it could raise your blood pressure (and therefore the baby's)! The stomach and back pain could be caused by bloating (I had that in early pregnancy) so try some Maalox (safe during pregnancy) or taking a walk. Good luck!

I don't really have any tips, but you might want to avoid the heating pad on your belly. Most of my baby books say to avoid them unless recommended by your practitioner, as raising your body temperature (which heating pads obviously do) during pregnancy is discouraged. I was addicted to the heating pad before getting PG... used it for tummy aches and cramps. I miss it! Haha. Anyway. I am sure your doctor could give you tips to use one safely if you need it. Hope you start feeling better!

i buy heating pads and wrap them around my back - it doesnt take the pain away right away but afterwords it does :)
