Hey Tiffany I'm sorry you have to go through something like that. If you need anyone to talk to you can email me @ aka_shorty2000@yahoo.com.

I just wanted to let everyone know I am the Lindsay that has been posting on here for a while, NOT the one posting recently. I don't agree with pushing personal opinions and beliefs on others unless asked to do so. I enjoy posting and reading messages on the forum and don't want my name to be tarnished because I seem to share it with some opinionated hot mouth out there. From now on, I will add my last initial to my name so we can tell the difference. BTW, we are NOT trying to get pregnant right now, because I'm in school..... I miscalculated my ovulation day and had unprotected sex with my husband. Ya'll keep your fingers crossed for me that his "swimmers" were too slow, lol. I want to wait until I graduate in November before we pick up trying again. Thanks all!!!!! Everyone keep us updated!!!!!!

I still havent gotten them and they r bout 20days late this happened once before but i wasnt pregnant could this be wat i have been hoping for???

Tanya - August 11th, 2005 11:33 PM

Pam: I'm new to the site and am experiencing the same symptoms. I'm 23 yrs old, and I'm 8 days late. I've been reading many past postings, and I believe that the regularity of your cycle will give you clues. If you are irregular normally, stay calm and test in a few weeks if you don't get your period. If you're regular (I always am), then there's a much higher chance that you are PG with those symptoms. My doc says that you might not show up positive until you're 5-6 weeks in. I even took a blood test yesterday that came back neg. My doc is a family doctor and has seen many, many delayed positives that turn into healthy babies. I'd keep taking urine tests every week or so... we don't want to run ourselves ragged running to get tests and stressing! I hope this helps. :)

I too am 6 days late, have cramps, tiredness and sore boobs. I've taken 5 tests (different brands), all came back negative. The pregnancy hormone should show up now - when I was pregnant before it showed up 3 days before I was due (I used 'First Response'). I'm worried as could I be pregnant but the embryo be dead or something?...

Lindsay I - August 12th, 2005 10:25 AM

Ada: Even if that IS the case, it should pass harmlessly in your next period and you probably won't even be able to tell, but as always, if you are worried, always check with your doctor!!!!! Good luck hon!!!

PAMELA...I'm in the same situation. I'm also about a week late and have been having menstrual like cramps without any bleeding. I took an hpt two days ago, but it was negative. How accurate are those tests?

Tanya - August 14th, 2005 12:35 PM

Hi all - 10 days late now. Still no period, but my stress is high. What crazy bodily cycles we have!! I've taken many tests, the most recent being yesterday, and all neg. I do have LBP and my breasts are full and sensitive. They aren't as sore as when I normally get my period, so my body is definitely up to something! I still have cramps, but they are mild and seldom. I feel like my abdomen is bloated, and am getting electrical sensations all over my reproductive path. Any words of wisdom?

Kenda - August 15th, 2005 9:20 AM

I started. I promised I would let you guys know.

Kim - August 16th, 2005 4:02 PM

I have been in the same position as many of you before...I have been 4+ days late and kinda felt like I could be pregnant and then WHAM got my period. I guarentee it was all stress. Usuaully I spotted the first day and then it went away for a few days and came back. This time it was different. I was six days late without any bleeding when I finally tested and I was infact pregnant. The difference was my boobs hurt so bad I could hardly touch them. I still had period like cramping and felt like I was going to get my period any second. I sometimes wonder in reading these posts of the stress of wanting to be pregnant keeps you from getting your period. My experience is you will definately know when you are pregnant. It is just that much different that you don't even question it. I hope this helps! I've been reading these posts for the last 4 months or so. I wish you all luck! It will happen when it is meant to be! ;)

Lindsay I - August 16th, 2005 4:11 PM

I am not late yet, not due for another 4 days, but I am wondering if something isn't going on. I miscalculated my ovulation days and my husband didn't use protection. Now my boobs are so tender they hurt for me to even wash them in the shower and I have period cramps, but I usually don't start cramping until after I start. As wonderful as pregnancy would be, since we havent been able to conceive over the last 21 months, we had JUST decided to wait until after I graduate in the fall. Figures, it usually happens when you quit trying, lol. My son will be 2 on Friday, and I would LOVE to get pregnant before the end of the year, so there won't be more than 3 years between them, but it is all in God's hands :)

Kim - August 16th, 2005 4:42 PM

One other thing I thought of when reading the last post, is that when implantation happened I had this weird feeling in my stomach (down low) that required me to lay on my tummy for a couple of minutes. It happened twice and was like a very isolated cramp. At the time I didn't realize what it was. Again, hope this helps with all of you.

JENNIFER HYDER - August 19th, 2005 9:16 PM

MY PERIOD WAS ABOUT FIVE DAYS LATE AND ON THE SIX DAY I STARTED TO HAVE PERIOD PAIN AND I CAN SEE SPOT IN MY PANTYLINER IS THERE STILL A POSSIBILTY THAT I AM PREGNANT.

vic - August 20th, 2005 5:17 PM

Hi. You probly are. The same happened to me. I took five home test and the first showed up positive and i freeked out so i took another one which turned up negative. Then i took another cos still no period and there was a really faint line and a nurse told me that it had to be picking something up to show up at all. So i waited a week and took two more which both showed up positive. My doctor tells me i am seven weeks and i still get feelings like i am about to come on. So, yeah, i gues it is normal.
