well, "if i am " is no longer relevant. After seeing the Doc and two pregnancy tests later I now know I'm pregnant! At 23, this is a HUGE shock, but a very happy one. Apparently, period pains are very normal as this is when the fertilised embryo is implanting into your uterus. wow. I'm going to be a mummy! well, good luck to everyone else. How long will these period pains last do you think? x

I have similar symptoms, I have had period pains, sore breasts, sore back for past 5 days. My period was due yesterday but didnt come. I did a pregnancy test 2 days ago cause it all felt too weird - negative. Today when i went to the toilet my poo was very soft, has anyone else had this? should I do another test? The cramping shouldnt last this long should it? And if it was implantation cramping it would have been earlier. Thanks

This is not an answer, but I'm currently 13 days late. I've had the same symptoms of period cramping but no appearance of my period. I've never been late before, never skipped a period and I'm not currently under a lot of stress. The only thing that is curious is that my fiance has had a vasectomy. He's been married before and we've talked about getting it reversed...I haven't said anything to him because I don't know if I'm overexaggerating yet. I haven't taken a test yet, I want to wait until tomorrow (2 weeks). My breasts aren't sore but they don't get sore before my period either. I'm sensitive to LOOKING at some foods, feeling queesy, fatigued, and had some back pain a couple days ago. Could I be pregnant? I'm so nervous to take the test, I don't want it to be negative - this would be such a miracle!!!!!

Hi Pamela. I'm the same as you, but four days late. A home test proved positive, but the doctors test showed negative. The Doctor wants me to do another test and I will keep my fingers crossed its positive. I am also puzzled by the stomach cramps - hopefully it's just a case of it trying to sort itself out!

I was 3 days late for my period and i took a pregnancy test and it come up positive. I then took 2 more both positive, so tests can be done as soon as u miss your period. Im 10 weeks now really excited and period pains have gone but cramping pains and stretching pains still there but alot less painful =) goodluck all just take your tests and put your minds at rest.

I feel horrible I started spotting on the 30th and the first, second and third..today I stopped ..my mom said that she when she was pregnant with me and my sis the doc told her she wasn't pregnant either but that she would bleed too.. I believe that you are, that pain you are feeling is more than likely your uterus expanding, it feels like period cramps.

Took a test on Saturday it was negative, the pains have gone abit, boobs are less sore, but still no period.
