hello again, still no preiod... still having cramps, lower back pain, and my boobs have went up a cup size over night!!
took 2 hpt, & both very positive.
going to the doctors later today,
anyone with these symtoms.. take a pregnancy test!!!

congrats as u got BFP, what about the cramps is that a good sign ?as i am having cramps i am 14 dpo ,tomorrow is my day

hi aish, not really too sure how 'good' these cramps are, but my doctor advised they are totally normal, they are only dangerous when you are bleeding too as this can be a miscarriage,
but i still have the cramps, & im 6 weeks, if anyone has had these during early pregnancy it would be comforting to know. Good Luck.

I have the same problem, I took the emergancy pill about a month ago and then had some very weird discharge (sorry for to much info here), it said on the leaflet I would be about a week early or a week late, I'm due on now and have period pains without any blood and i fequently need the toilet. What should i do, should i take a test or go and see my doctor?

Emz.... I would take a home test first. I hate sitting in a Dr. office for hours, lol. HPT's are very accurate and trustworthy. If it comes up negative, test again in about a week. If it is still negative, then you are probably just stressing (which can cause you to be late). Of course, if you STILL haven't started your period, I would suggest seeing a health care professional.


On a personal note.... my husband and I had quit trying for a baby, as we had tried for 2 years with no luck. I am not late as of right now, not due until around the 28th, but I have had thick CM and nausea, tired alot and peeing frequently. This is bad timing for us, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth! lol Keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!

I am about 2 days late. My boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex, but using the pull out method. I have some Cramp pain, back pain and legs are sore,feet are itchy. Could this mean I am pregnant? Please HELP!!

im having the same problem and i did a home pregnancy test and it looked positive but i wasent sure do i go to the doctor and do another one.

kaylie...If your hmt was positive then congrats! they are 99.5% accurate.
Do another one if you want to be sure.

in the early stages of pregnancy, they are only dangerous when accompined with blood. I think you could be pregnant, give it a few days, dont stress then take a test.

I am 6 days late for my period. I was supposed to get it on 17th of this month. I took a home pregnancy test and came out to be negative. Should i wait a few more days to take another one? I am having no signs of pregnancy. I don't know what to do! Please help me!!

I had to respond to the Lindsay who was so vocal about abortion. I agree with you saying that abortion should NOT be used as a way of birth control, meaning girls shouldn't be out sleeping around unprotected and just figuring "oh well, I can get an abortion". However, I DO think that abortion is personal choice b/c you don't always know the circumstances behind the abortion. Some ppl suggest adoption...well ok, for some that is the answer. But in the same token, adoption like abortion should be personal choice. None of us are able to really pass judgement or put our own opinions ahead of others, especially those who are actually IN the situation. There are many situations that can be debatable, but who's right? YOU b/c you believe what you believe?? I think not...I think who's right, is whoever is IN the predicament to MAKE the decision....and everybody else should keep quiet about it. Every person has to live with the choices they make and the consequences of their actions. Do you really think that it would be an easy decision for someone to HAVE an abortion? There are circumstances with THAT decision that you have no clue about. YOU choose what you want, let everyone else choose what they want. SUGGESTION: You can tell ppl you don't agree with abortion BUT the decision is not to be made by you - when asked your opinion!! Bottom line, educating ppl about choices is a good thing whether they are choices you'd make or not!

Aside of wanting to respond as I did...I wanted to mention that I too am 4 days late. I was told if you count from the first day of your last period, your most fertile days are between days 11 - 14 (from the first day of your last period). I had unprotected sex on days 10 and 11...not quite sure why I wasn't more careful or responsible but what's done is done. I have two children already, fairly young (ages 5 &3). My b/f has two boys from his previous marriage. My g/f is out shopping and I asked her to pick me up a home pregnancy test. So when she brings it back, I'll be doing it. I did a home test the first day I was late for both my kids before and the response came up immediately. I also had a miscarriage before my first baby....same thing did the home test after being a day late, hope it gives me a response again. Perhaps I'll post my response after I find out. Just amazing how many ppl go thru the same experiences. Good luck to everyone no matter what your situation or cirucmstances and no matter what you're hoping for. Hi, Its me again. I still didn't get my period. Today will be the 7th day. I am going to wait until wed. to take another pregnancy test b/c i took one already the 21st. I guess i will post the result. If anyone has experienced this before let me know.

Sarah, if you can wait, wait...if not - do another test. It's funny b/c I have never had a problem doing the home tests immediately after being late. I realize it has to do with the amount of HCG in your system, but I took a test today after being 4 days late in the middle of the afternoon when I didn't really have to go, and it's positive. SO there you have it, I posted my results...I'm not sure how I feel. I cried...my situation is odd and a bit chaotic.... I have to talk to my b/f later, then I'll know how I feel for sure. I think... if you're stressed about anything Sarah it could delay your period...I usually found that once I did the test and it was negative my mind was at ease and that very day or the next, I would get my period. Tests are expensive, so if you can wait, like I said wait...if not, go ahead and try again. What harm will it do? Could give you the results you want? Good luck regardless of what your response is!

Today is the 8th day and still nothing. I don't have any signs of pregnancy and no signs of my period either. I don't know whats going on with me. I do think i am very stressed out and now with this situation i am even more stressed. Hopefully i get it b4 wed. b/c thats when i am taking the second pregnancy test. Is it normal to be this late? I mean i don't have regular periods but i have only been like 6 days late in the past. I HOPE my second test is negative.
