Listen Anon I didn't "rag" on anyone for giving an OPINION I "ragged" on her for saying negative things about abortion. BECAUSE there are so many ppl confused as to what to do, they don't need to hear negative things about a choice they may have to make. It's hard enough dealing with the news alone especially if it's unexpected. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure there are some who care about my opinion B/C they come on here for ADVICE. Read what I wrote....you can't get the answers you want from asking random ppl on a forum, you can only get a bit of comfort knowing you're not the only one experiencing the symptoms mentioned. SO, my suggestions were to talk to a dr. If you don't think that is ideal advice you've got issues. Perhaps your miserable response is more along the lines of what ppl are looking for, but I doubt that. A hypocrit? No, I don't care who gives advice that's what this place is about, but when it's in a negative form toward a possible choice that many may have to make, I think that's wrong and I will voice MY opinion as well. I just figure you can do it in a more positive way without making someone feel more confused than they might already be.

Well its me again! I need help.. i still don't have my period. I don't know what to do. I have an appointment for my doc. on january 19th. If i don't get my period by then i will have to take a blood test. I haven't taken anymore pregnancy tests b/c i think i am wasting my money. I basically skipped one whole month and got two tests negative. I am so stressed .. someone please help me? STOP ARGUING PPL WE NEED ADVICE NOT ARGUMENTS!

AMEN Sarah, that's the exact point I've been trying to make. Anyway, about your situation...you're on the right track. You don't have much time til your DR. appt so just wait til then. Like you said you've bought a couple tests and they came back negative, so the blood test your Dr. will give you should determine whether or not you're pregnant. Be sure you have all the questions you want answered written down so you don't leave feeling more confused than you are now. If by chance you are NOT pregnant ask your Dr. what else could be wrong and what can be done to determine that. I wish you luck with all of this. I'm not sure what outcome you want to have but regardless I wish you all the best. :-)

Hi I am 23 i have been of the pill for around 5 months my first period after coming off the pill was 2-3 weeks late and then after that they where back to normal i was getting one every month. I am now 6 weeks late for my period i think or it could be 7 i am loosing count! I had cramps like i was going to get my period but it never came. I did a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and it was negative. I have also been feeling a little sick and i have been very snappy and a little moody but apart from that i dont think i have any other sympyoms. I really hope i am pregnant, i want to do another test but i keep on thinking that i will get my period.

Well if you have the money to get another test, why not? Get one with two tests so you have another just incase you get a negative response. That way you have another test on hand to do a while later. Or go to a clinic that will do testing for you or better yet your Dr. It's frustrating waiting and wondering I know...but you can't get the answers you want without doing one of the above and/or waiting a bit longer. Sucks, but either way I hope the best for you!! :)

Exactly the same thing happened to me, only didn't feel sick. I am pregnant did a test ( well 3 actually!) after period was 4 days late. Still getting some light cramping but doctor assures me all is well

Hey. Here I am... again.... 22 days late for my period. I don't know what to think. I have taken 2 HPT's and had a blood test done (at around 5 days late) and they were all negative. I have been periodically having mild period like cramps for the last 3 or 4 weeks but no sign of starting. I also usually get incredibly sore boobs right before I start, and they arn't even the slightest bit tender. I have also been sleeping more than usual and very emotional. I don't know if there is still a chance that I could be pregnant, even though the blood test came back negative. Any suggestions? I don't want to waste money on another test unless I know there is at least a possibility. Thanks for reading!!!!!

Hi my name is brey i am 14 years old and there is a posibility of me being preagnet i was 11 days late and now i just started my period on wed and i have symtoms of being pregnet i have bad back aches chest hurts stomch cramping and my stomach is also getting big and my belly button is coming out so am i or am i not preagnet i need your help sp bad and if i am im about 2 weeks and my babys daddy don't won't nothin to do with me and the baby at all

Lindsey there is still a chance you could be pregnant, I say this b/c a friend of mine went to her DR and had a blood test done, did 2 HPTs and they all came back negative a couple weeks later still no period so she did another test. Was positive and her daughter is now turning 9 this year. I'd call your dr and ask some advice if you should come in for another blood test or wait longer.
And Brey, the only way to know for sure if you're pregnant is to do a test or see a DR. Unfortunately none of us here can answer that for you. Good luck with everything. Try not to forget what you said about your b/f...you don't need guys like that in your life.

Hey its me again! I never went to my appointment for the doc. i rescehduled for Feb 8th and then yesterday and big surprise occured. I GOT MY PERIOD. This time for real.. these past two months have been very stressful for me with my situation. I am happy with my result I am really not ready to have a baby although when the time is right I would love to have one. Well i just thought I would let every1 know what was my conclusion. When i go to the doc. i am getting back on the pill for awhile until i am ready. Also, for any1 else out there going through this just go and take a pregnancy test even if its a cheap one they work!!

I last had my period December 18th 2005, i was due for my next period January 15th 2006 or around that date and it hasn't came yet..i did a pregnancy test at 5 days late which was Friday January 20th 2006 NEGATIVE... was that tooo early and if so when should i do another test? i am now 7days late ..i just don't know what to do..please let me know..thanks everyone.. by the way i am 31yrs of age

Oh my lower back is Very achey and my breasts are bigger and my stomach is bloated my nipples are alittle bit sensitive..those are symptoms i am having other then that feeling iam going to get my period but it never comes...

I am not late, actually It's only been 2 weeks since my last period, but I have had for 3 days now extremely bad cramping pains, Feels like I am going to get my period. My fiance and I don't use protection, we haven't for 3 years, (we use the pull out method) and I've heard that for the first month or 2 of being pregnant, you can get you period. Is this true. Could I be pregnant?

Hi - I've been reading these posts because I am 6 days late. My doctor told me to take a test tomorrow morning, and call her back. I took one Sunday, it was neg. She said a lot can change between Sunday and now. Has anyone had any success being late and getting negative tests, then finding out they're pregnant? It seems like everyone ends up getting their period!

You have to be prepared for either outcome. And if you want to be pregnant but end up getting your period, don't let it discourage you. Try and carry the attitude if it happens it happens. I know that helped me when I was trying.
I know a girl who did a few tests that came up negative, even went to her dr. and the dr. said she was not pregnant. Well her daughter is now 9 years old from that "non-pregnancy". It's possible you may not be pregnant but just b/c you feel period pains doesn't mean you aren't. That's normal and sometimes you feel it thru your pregnancy around the time you'd normally get your period. Doing a test is about the only way to find out other than waiting, and waiting can be frustrating. Tests can be costly though so try and be patient and I'd suggest getting the tests where you get two in the box. Good luck to everyone!
