Hey I'm 23wks and I just had a racing heart and shortness of breath out of no were. I wasnt sure if it was a panic attack or if its was because I was lying on my back and got up too quick, but that was very scary I thought I was having a heart attack or asthma attack but I dont have asthma, and since its Saturday my doctor isnt in. I dont want to go to the ER if this is normal. Please if anybody can give me some reassurance that would be great.

That can be scary, I would say take it easy regardless if you can. I am 16 weeks ans had t and was worried, and that happen too.

I am deciding to bring it up with my obgyn doc in 7 days, only cause it happned once. I started drinking more water and it hasn't happened again.

Kep an eye out an keep us posted. =)

Hello everyone. I have my heart race when I pick up my one year old daughter and carry her to her crib. It has a strong beat and it goes away within 5 minutes or so. I am 16 weeks pregnant with twins, 5th pregnancy, and consider myself a little healthy, I guess. I weigh 126 right now and I am 5'4. Hope I helped some. Oh, and I don't think the heart racing or shortness of breath is anything to worry about. I think all it means is that we're pregnant, and any type of work out will get our hearts racing, whether you're walking out side, or vacuuming. This is my PO. You should always mention it to your OB Dr. just to be on the safe side. I think it's normal though. :) Good luck!
