chelseaholley - April 26th, 2009 9:16 PM

how are you guys feeling? ive had sore and growing boobs since before my positive preg. test, then the nausea kicked in and is pretty consistent. the worst one though, food aversions! i am a vegetarian and i love to eat healthy but i just cant stand to eat my normal diet! even the thought of eating a roasted carrot or potato makes me gag. ive basically been surviving on pbj sandwiches, cold serials and yogurt. and i wake up like 5 times at night to use the toilette! as frustrating as this can all be though, im really happy to be feeling so pregnant. any of you feeling really pregnant yet?

ps. is it normal to be feeling really "full" all over? my waist, breasts, butt and upper legs are all bigger even though i havent gained more than a pound.

I am due 12/21...I am soooo excited! This will be # 2 for me. I have 1 ds who is 3 now born 12/8/05, so they will have birthdays very close together! Ds and I have been trying for 8 long months, so I am thrilled to be back in the first trimester board!

chelseaholley - April 27th, 2009 1:18 PM

congratulations jen!

Preety - April 27th, 2009 5:36 PM

Hi I am in my sixth week of pregnancy and expecting on 14dec. I am getting very week. I am not able to eat anything. feeling so tired for whole day.

arc - April 27th, 2009 5:39 PM

Congratulations Jen! Welcome to the group.

I'm in the same boat, Chelsea. My bbs are so sore I can even cuddle with my hubby - we have to spoon with my back to him. They don't feel any bigger, just really tender, especially around the nipples. I haven't had any food aversions yet, but this week I have been constantly hungry. I'm a teacher and usually my breakfast will last until lunchtime but today I had to have a snack between every class.

We told my husband's parents last night. We were going to wait to tell our families until after the first u/s (just to make sure) but we aren't going to see his parents for while so we decided to tell them earlier than everyone else. It's strange now - I feel like I have to "go through" with it now...weird.

Good luck with your water birth, roccosmomma! That sounds so scary to me. I'm all for an epidural at the hospital. Yikes!

I hope everyone isn't feeling too bloated :)

arc - April 27th, 2009 5:41 PM

Preety - I'm in my 6th week also. I'm exhausted. All I want to do is sleep. I can't wait until everyone knows and they won't think I'm rude when I go take a nap :)

Hi everyone,
I know these symptoms are tough to deal with but on a positive note, they are a good sign. I only have mild nausea and slightly tender bbs, but mood swings are still rearing their ugly head, lol! Chelsea, I only wish I could eat very little! I eat so much right now I have to try to eat as healthy as possible. Well I will check back in soon and hope to hear more good things from dr apps. Here's baby dust to our lil ones and cheers, water of course, to a healthy and happy nine months!!!
Brooke

tibbi that so exciting! im sure all will be fine, you need to let us know how the u/s goes so we can all celebrate with you!

*****question for you ladies*****

is this normal, my nausea has been pretty consistent and always got worse and at about 8 1/2 weeks after 2 TERRIBLE days of it, its just about vanished. im still really sensitive to odors but the nausea is gone. im just past 9 weeks, is this normal or ok? I still have swollen tender bbs, constipation and some heartburn.
