Hello, just got a call back from the doc and my levels have increased which is great news! 1st bloodwork, my hcg was 1494 and was 4306 48 hours later! My progesterone was 13.9 but decreased to 12.3 - should i be worried about the decrease? My next appointment has been scheduled for the 13th. I just went to my first appointment too early I guess but I am still worried anyway!

ecstaticmommy- wow ur numbers are high & glad to hear they are doubling,not sure that to say about ur progesterone i've never had it tested sry.

Just thought i'd update u all even tho it isn't much - my doc. said i'm 6 1/2 wks,i gained 2 pounds in 2 wks and the reason the u/s tech and her was asking if i had any bleeding/spotting was because it showed a small implantation bleed when they took the picture. She's very happy with my hcg numbers and doesn't want to repeat them, i asked her if i could have a picture of the baby and she said i'll have to ask the u/s tech when i go in on july 7th. ugg! and i asked again about the possiblity of twins- she said maybe there's one hiding and we should know for sure on the 7th. So far with me everything's going great no spotting, bad all day nausea but haven't thrown up "yet" lol. this pregnancy is real different than the other 4 i've always lost 10 pounds in the beginning and don't start gaining til i'm 5 months, also i can't fit into any of my jeans or shorts i have to buy drawstring bottoms or maternity pants. Well that's it for me, i wish everyone luck with their upcomming appt's. and u/s i hope everyone gets what they want =))

Well I live in Germany and I am 5w1d today. I have had two ultrasounds already because they are very thorough here. I am so excited. about a week ago i was soo soo scared of Miscarriages but now I am getting more comfortable and more excited now. I hope that everyone else gets a little less nervous about the first 12 weeks! Of course I am still nervous just its not taking over my excitement anymore.

Turner...when you had your ultra sound, what did you see? I went in at 5w6d (and I'm now 6w 2d) and they didn't yet see a baby, just the gestational sac and the yolk sac...the u/s tech said that at 4 weeks you see the ges sac and at 5 weeks you see the yolk sac and at 6 weeks is when you should start seeing the baby. So, I am supposed to go back in 10days for another u/s to see if they can see the baby. I'm not worried at all, I'm just curious what yours or anyone else experience was in the early utra sounds.
Oh and that's great that you're feeling calmer and more relaxed and not as worried...all will be well! :-)

I went for my first ultrasound on 6/22/09 at 7week 5 days, and they were able to see the baby and well as detect the heartbeat which was beating 170 beats per minute. I thought that the ultrasound would be transvaginal; however the tech was able to get a clear shot just by doing a regular sonogram. Thank God for technology! That night was the first night I was truly able to sleep well knowing that everything was ok.

Hi all I'm Kim, I just found out I am pregnant on Tuesday, with a due date of 2/22/10. I am beynod happy, yet scared as hell. I am 35, and will be a single mom. Father is in the picture, and is very excited as well, but I am trying to look at this as I will be managing this on my own.

MomNLove- At 3w4d I saw the TINY dot. It was a very small Black dot but it was noticeable. The DR. then could tell me that it was NOT ectopic and that the position looked great. Then I went at 4w4d and the sac got about the size a little smaller than a nickel. I saw nothing inside the sac yet though. So ill have an ultrasound at 7w5d and get to see or hear the heartbeat and see something inside teh sac.

OH yeah I also had a question for Feb mommies. TODAY I am 5w3d and i just started this brown spotting... Is this something I should call the doctor about?
