Okay, I havnt missed my period yet, it is 6 days away but, my husband came in me when I was ovulating so there is a good chance im pregnant, well im on a lot of medications and my doctor stresses tha if i am pregnant i shouldnt take this certain one, should I quit taking it until I know for sure if im pregnant or not? and What if I consume alchohol right now, would that be advised?

Hi Vegan:If there is a chance that u might be pregnant and concerned about medications best person to ask is the doctor .I dont know what sort of medications u are on and what causes it will have if u stop taking them for few days till ur pregnancy is confirmed.About alcohol when in doubt dont take it that is something which is in ur hands and u can control so hang on till u find out.Hope this helps and good luck.Keep us posted

My husband and I were planning this pregnancy. I am on Zocor which I cannot take when I am pregnant. The doctor informed me that I should stop taking the medication as soon as we started trying to conceive. Anytime you are trying to get pregnant or you think you are, then treat your body like you are pregnant.

I took a test today and it read positive, it was an early read one and I should miss my period in 4 days.
