I took a pregnancy test to find out if I was pregnant because I had been feeling a little yuck lately. I tested postive for being pregnant and made an appointment to see my physician. During my visit, they wanted to go ahead and do a vaginal ultrasound just to see how far along we were. HOWEVER, they were not able to detect a sak or anything during the ultra sound. I have not had any cramping and I am just around 3 weeks. Any suggestions on why this could be? Is it just too early to tell?

At 3 weeks, it is WAY to early to see anything via u /s. With my last pregnancy I was between 4 and 5 weeks and only saw a teeny tiny sac. And then the next week, there was a baby with a heartbeat. With this pregnancy, I thought I might have a tubal because of horrible left sided cramping, and I had an u/s and there was NOTHING in my uterus and thankfully nothing in my tubes. I went in a week later because I was still cramping and lo and behold there was a little bity baby with a flicker of a heartbeat in the right spot. I was cramping because of an ovarian cyst. So, I wouldn't worry!
