I'm about 5 1/2 weeks, and I have mild cramps off and on during the day. Sex finally doesn't hurt (cervix was tender at first), but now every time I have an orgasm, I get cramps at the same time and for a few minutes after. Does/Did anyone else have this? If so, did it every stop? I'm starting to really shy away from bedroom activity with dh.

Yes, the same thing does happen to me. The cramps only last a short while, then go away. I know what you mean about shying away from it. I feel the same way. I guess it's normal from what I've read.

Thanks, Erin. It's nice to know I'm not alone. My cramps only last a short while too, but they're definitely unpleasant. I hope they go away soon like the cervical tenderness did.

I didnt remember cervical tenderness, however dh and I didn't do much at first cuz I was having such bad cramps in general. Then, when that eased up, we did and I got them after an orgasm! Do we ever get a break?? Ha ha. It will all be worth it though! I'm 6w5d

I read that when a woman orgasm's when pregnant....it rocks the baby in the uterus.....and that babies tend to like that sensation. I thought that was kindof cute.

I'm having cramping to after an orgasm. It scared me, now I'm not comfortable having sex, too nervous. (miscarriage July 4th)

Thanks for all your responses. Dh and I usally bd every day, so my body's used to regular orgasms. Now that I don't have them as often, I'm having "wet dreams!" I HATE them - I wake up all cramping and uncomfortable. I guess it will get better when my body adapts to the decrease. I hope so anyway!

Hi, Monique - sorry this took so long. I was out of town. I still get busy with dh almost every day, but I'm avoiding orgasms for the moment. We'll probably try one more time next week to see how I'm feeling. DH is leaving in late September, and he'll be gone until mid-December, so hopefully it won't feel so bad by the time he gets back!

Hey Alycia! My dh is HATIN' your dh right about now!! lol. I'm about at my breaking point too (3 weeks today). Is avoiding orgasms working for you? More importantly are you enjoying sex anyway WITHOUT the BIG OH??

I'm not really in the mood when we start out, but I do always get into it once we start. It feels good, but not in the bounce-off-the-walls kind of way it normally is. It's just nice and relaxing - I always feel happy and calm afterwards. So if you can bring yourself to try it, you'll probably be fine... and dh will thank you! And me for telling you this!
