Hi Ashlie...I don't know how everything is going now, being that it's been a few weeks since you've posted this, but I hope all is still well.
I miscarried my frist in the summer of 2007 and got pregnant again in Feb of 2008 with my DD. Her HB was 175bpm and she was indeed very healthy and I had no trouble throught the pregnancy.
I hope that helps a little bit.

Sounds like a great heartbeat! My dd's heartbeat was 176 when I had an ultrasound at about 8 weeks I believe. You are probably on in the 2nd tri board now I realize the dates...lol

LOL stefkay, at needing new glasses! I swear with pregnancy, my eyes (which had lasik 3 years ago) have been playing tricks on me too! And how funny that you had a dd and her heartbeat was 176 and my dd was also right about there! Maybe there is something to the whole "if the heartbeat is fast it's a girl and if's slow it's a boy" thing! I know there are always exceptions to the "rule" but how cool to see it being true for you and me! When i go to hear the h/b with this one, I'm gonna see if the beats are slow or fast and I think that might give me a good idea if it's a girl or boy! So, Ashlie24 will have to keep us posted when she finds out the sex to see if it follows the "rule". Take care all!

hello ladies! on average around when did most of you hear the hearbeat? I am 10w today and I have still not heard the heartbeat. I had gone to see my OB this past Monday and she didnt mention it, and I forgot to ask. So I have no clue where my lil one's heartbeat is at.

10w is the average time to hear the heartbeat. Some can even hear before that. Just ask at your next appointment.
