i am 6 weeks pregnant i started to bleed yesterday i went to my doctor and he sent me for a u/s. the u/s showed baby with a heartbeat and measuring 6weeks 4 days which is great but above and beside the baby is blood i have 50/50 chance of the outcome i am really scared. i have to go for weekly scans. the blood should be reabsorbed by my body but if it gets bigger or comes away theres a chance it will bring the baby as well. has this happened to anyone if so i would like to hear about it. thanks xx

When I was pg with dd (who's now 8 months old), I started to bleed heavily with bright red blood at about 6 weeks. Fearing the worse the dr sent me for an u/s and they found that I also had a pool of blood in my uterus. It turned out to be a ruptured blood vessel. I bled heavily for the next day or so and then passed a very large clot. Over the next week the bleeding tapered off and an u/s revealed that the rupture had healed. I know it's scary but there really can be a good outcome. Good luck!

My friend who I have known since high school had this happen to her. She didn't have a good outcome with her baby she spotted and bled some from week 7 until she miscarried at week12. I really hope all heals for you and everything turns out to be fine. This is called a subchrionic hematoma.

This just happened to a good friend of mine and she was able to pass the blood clot and the baby is fine. Try and keep your hopes up and keep us posted!

I am not bleeding yet, but do have the blood in the uterus...it is called a subchorionic hemmorage. It is quite common, but is a huge contributor to mc. I too had a mc in Oct. I am doing the waitin ggame too. It stinks! My next us is on the 9th. Good Luck to you!
