Heartbeat At 8 Weeks...?

Yesterday I went to my dr. for an ER follow up and just for kicks she thought she would check for a HB with the doppler, but was almost positive I would have to go for the U/S. As soon as she put the doppler on, we found the heartbeat loud and clear several times. She seemed very shocked to be able to hear it that soon. She mentioned something about my uterus being really tipped, too, but didn't elaborate. Is it possible that I am further along than we thought. Has anyone heard baby on doppler this soon? Everthing I have read says shouldn't hear HB until 10-11 weeks.

I heard mine today and I will be 10 weeks tommorow. The doctor said that my uterus was in the right direction and that is why I could hear it. I don`t think the tipped part is to much to worry about or they would have said something.

I heard mine at 8 weeks! The doctor warned me not to be nervous if we did not hear anything yet and only tried on me because I am thin. I am only 5 ft tall and weigh 98 lbs...very petite! I am 27 and look like I'm 18! Hey I'm not complaining, though!
