I am due July 4th, although being Canadian wouldn't mind baby being 3 days early on July 1st. Plus both my children were 9 days overdue, so early would be welcome this time!

Hello everyone. Congratulations to all us July 2010 mommies. Just got my BFP over the weekend which by my calculations makes me due at the end of July. (I am very excited but always cautious about the first trimester.) This is #2 for me. My DD is 2. I have not made a doctor appointment. My doctor likes to see people at week 7-8 for the first ultrasound so I have a couple weeks to go. If you go to the doctor in the 4-6 week window- the doctor to visit is mostly to answer any questions you have and provide information, some also give samples of prenatal pills which are very important to take. Also some doctor's order blood tests to see if the HCG is doubling (mine doesn't unless you have a special need.) The first ultrasound is usually at about 7-8 weeks and that is where the Doctor looks for the heartbeat and checks to make sure that everything looks on track. After that monthly visists until you get your next ultrasound which is at about 17-20 weeks. Okay hope this helps.

I'm 27 and my first baby is due July 14(hasn't been confirmed by a doctor). My doctor ordered an early ultrasound, which I had on Nov 11th and it had me worried. All she could see was a gestational sac. She said it was probably because it was so early in the pregancy, but I am still very worried. My only symptoms are sore bb, really tired, and very mild nausa(have not thrown up). This is my first pregnancy so I don't know what to expect. Next doctor's visit isn't until 12/2.

softbreeze200 - November 18th, 2009 12:21 AM

Tasha where in Canada are you?? I am in sask and loving the warm winter here so far!! My dd was two weeks early and it was great!I was dreading going way overdue, but didnt have too! How are you feeling?

Tasha - November 18th, 2009 8:35 AM

Hi Softbreeze, Im in Alberta. Weather here has been great too! Looking forward to a milder winter!
I really hope this one is early!!! I just cant stand going that overdue!!! It might this time since my first was a c-section but cause I was induced and nothing happened, second I did a v-bac so now my body knows what to do, they say pregnancies go faster if you have them vaginally previously, here's hoping!!
Im feeling horrible most days, very unlike my last 2. I feel great in the morning, but by mid afternoon and night, I can only lye on the couch, feel so bad for my other 2 children!
How are you feeling?
wantanotheraftertr- I dont understand your children's ages? You say you oldest is 20 months? and your other 2 are 18 and 15 F...what is f? and youngest 2 months? I havent figured out all the abv. yet...thanks!!

thebidwellcrew - November 18th, 2009 9:38 AM

Hello all! Tasha I think that wantanotheraftertr means 20 year old Male, 18 and 15 year old Females and youngest is 2 year old Male. That's my guess anyway.

I am 29 and this will be our 6th living child. We have an almost 9 year old boy, almost 7 yr old girl, 5 yr old boy, 4 yr old boy, and 9 month old girl. I live in Kansas USA. I've been feeling sick as is usual for me. I've gotten to be best friends with my toilet the past week or so. I've always been lucky to have my babies early, except for my oldest who came on his due date. Tasha I know what you mean by wanting to lie on the couch. Ugh! I'm either so sick or so tired that that is all I can manage most evenings. Luckily I have a very understanding and helpful DH.

grad19 - November 18th, 2009 10:16 AM

Congrats ladies! I'm due July 20! I found out over the weekend. I have had 1 ectopic pregnancy (3 years ago) and 4 miscarriages and 1 D & C (the baby died at 10 weeks). So needless to say I am very paranoid, but super excited! I wish all of you good luck!

Tasha - November 18th, 2009 10:53 AM

Oh that makes sense now!! Thanks bidwellcrew!
My Husband has been great as well, when he gets home. I feel like because I dont look sick, he thinks Im faking, but growing a baby is HARD work!! He doesnt say that, but I guess Im just use to doing so much that Im making myself think Im not doing enough. Im worried as well grad19, and I havent had anything like you, so I can understand your worry! But I guess its not in our hands if something goes wrong, if we are taking care of ourselves. I still have a Decaf coffee, almost everyday, I try hard not to, but its my only vise...but it worries me. Its true how they say the worry starts when you find out your pregnant and NEVER goes away, just changes with time.

thebidwellcrew - November 18th, 2009 1:17 PM

I kinda know what you mean grad19. We've had 1 stillbirth and 2 miscarriages in the last 3 1/2 years. Makes it hard to ever really relax at any point in the pregnancy. Good luck though and I hope everything goes well this time!

wantanotheraftertr - November 18th, 2009 5:52 PM

yes bidwellcrew that is what I meant with my kids ages! LOL I am right there with a few of you it sounds. I have had 2 miscarriages in the last 2 1/2 years. The most recent was Feb1 with a D&C I was 11 weeks and had seen the heartbeat 2 times. It is hard to relax and enjoy but I believe things will go well this time! I also am very tired and qweezy alot! How many of you work and what do you do out of curiosity? I work mostly part time as a cosmetologist so I stand all day and work with chemicals. Which I always continued to do with the past pregnacies but after the most recent loss will not be doing chemical services for the first trimester. I know nothing can affect the baby but Its time to do things a little differently this time. Hope all are doing well!

grad19 - November 18th, 2009 10:06 PM

Thanks ladies. Well, I ended up in the ER tonight. I had such bad cramping and of course, paranoia. They did a beta and it went up to 94 (from 57 yesterday), but they said my urine test was negative. ????? Weird! The ER doc told me I was only a "few days" pregnant. HUH?? Nothing showed on the ultrasound. The whole thing was very weird, but at least I know it is not ectopic! Whhhew! I go back to my doc in the a.m., for more blood work. I hope it keeps going up and soon be able to see something, anything on the ultrasound! Baby dust to us all!

mrose - November 20th, 2009 6:42 PM

Hello ladies, I was wondering if I could join in? I haven't been on this forum in quite some time. I use to be on here quite frequently when I was ttc my dd. She will be 2 in December. I just found out this week that we are expecting #2! Not planned like the first, but wanted none the less. I have my first appointment on Dec. 1st, going to get all the lab work done and get my first ultrasound, so excited! When are you ladies due? I'm not sure of my due date, I'm thinking somewhere the end of July.

Hi everyone I am back

Just did the calculator Looks like we are due around July 27. So are we ready for a long haul. I think I am more prepared this go around than the last two, which by the way were 10 years apart.
Best of luck all

naisey - November 24th, 2009 2:40 PM

Hi,

I'm due on July 31st. I don't have my first app. til the 19th Jan when I'll be 13 weeks. This is due to xmas holidays. They said I can get an ultrasound through my regular GP at about 8 weeks. I think I will. I am 36, Hubby is 29 and this is our first.
I'm still taking a preg test every morning, a week after my bfp at 11dpo. I'm paranoid because Fertilty Friend said I shouldn't even start testing til tomorrow so I'm really worried I'm still going to get af. Line has been getting darker every day. I don't have any symptoms just tiredness.
