Hey there, I was wondering if any of the rest of you fine ladies ever lightly spotted pink. Like so light that you have to look in the light to see that it is pink? I'm sorry this is my very first pregnancy and I'm 10 weeks, just totally scared of miscarriage. Any ideas/help?

I had it around 11 weeks but its because I am pregnant with twins. It is more common with twins. Sometimes its just your cervix is irrated and becomes inflammed. Or if you have any sort of infection that makes your cervix even more inflammed. Did you call your dr so you can go see him/her? Good luck and keep us posted!

Thank you Ashley2121! That makes complete sense, the pinkness is literally so light you cannot notice it at all. Today nothing, hoping it is twins rather than an infection or m/c. I am a twin, twins run on both sides of my family...whew looks like my chances are quite high. Oh, my overy on my right side tends to tinge or feel like it is being poked every once in a random while. If you or anyone you know has any ideas as to why this is info would be great. Sorry I keep posting questions, I really appreciate your help so much!

I'm lightly spotting again, just pink, but I am so freaking out! I heard it is normal for twins, but I have NEVER been pregnant. Has anyone else experiences this off and on, not just one day but multiple?

HEY MICHELLE,I'M CURRENTLY 9 WEEKS PREGNANT AND THIS WHOLE PREGNANCY HAS BEEN ROUGH. I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL DUE TO CRAMPING AND SPOTTING, THEY SAID THERE WAS A SAC BUT NO BABY. FOUR DAYS LATER I HAD AND U/S AND THERE WAS AN EMBRYO. I HAVE HAD A FEW DAYS SPOTTING AND IT ISN'T BRIGHT RED BUT ENOUGH TO SCARE ME. THIS PAST THURSDAY I HAD BLOOD RUNNING DOWN MY LEGS AND I GOT CHECKED AMD CERVIX WAS CLOSED AND HAD ANOTHER U/S AND THERE WAS A HEALTHY STRONG HEART BEAT AND THE BABY WAS MEASURING WHERE IT SHOULD BE. MY DOC SAYS I'M A THREATENED MISCARRIAGE BUT HE SAID ITS PRETTY MUCH A WAITING GAME. I MAY CARRY FULL TERM OR NOT, BUT I HAVE HEARD FROM SO MANY PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE SPOTTED THREW THEIR PREGNANCIES, SO HOPEFULLY WE DO AS WELL. ALL'S I CAN SAY IS IF IT'S MEANT TO BE IT WILL BE, BUT BELIEVE ME I'M JUST AS SCARED AS YOU AND THIS IS MY SECOND PREGNANCY. GOOD LUCK AND HOPE IT ALL WORKS OUT. I'M SURE IT WILL, JUST TAKE IT EASY.

Thank you Kiki, your information was very reassuring. I suppose things are out of our hands, although when you get to this point you really don't want to deal with a m/c. I mean, anytime a m/c is depressing, but it took so long to get pregnant. I am still lightly spotting, a dot a random times. When I wipe it's clear, I don't know what is going on. But I am writing a long list of questions for the doc, hoping that I get to the doctor appointment next week without m/c between now and then.

Is it possible to go into the drs earlier? If you explain that you are spotting and worried about m/c your dr should get you in sooner - or at least I would hope

michelleishopeful - June 23rd, 2009 8:45 AM

I tried to but my doctor is all booked up until next Monday. I barely got the appointment that I did...I'm just going to take it easy, i hear it is pretty normal. My mom spotted too, and it isn't dark or heavy. I really would LOVE to go in today, but like I said there really isn't any way.

mm28 - June 23rd, 2009 11:20 AM

Hi Michelle, I remember that my Dr. told me any spotting is "a cause for concern" but not necessarily a miscarriage, esp. as Ashley said if you might be having twins. It is just a waiting game. With both my miscarriages I started out spotting pink, but within 24 hours it had turned bright red and heavy, it is unmistakeable. If you have had light light spotting for several days now I would guess it is very likely due to another cause other than m/c. If you can't see your Dr. the best thing to do is just rest and don't do anything strenuous.

michelleishopeful - June 23rd, 2009 11:37 AM

mm28 thank you so much for you information and help, so much! I have noticed that i spot a little pink after a very stressful situations. It never gets dark and it has been doing this since last week. I am not sure as to what this is, but i have taken the last few days off, Im a hairstylist and I work 8-hours straight on my feet. I average 20 haircuts a day so it is long and strenuous work. Oh I hope this baby survives, I would take twins! I have kind of expected the possibility since like I said before I am a twin myself. They run both sides of my family. I hope you all are doing great!
