I did not gain a single pound until I was 20 weeks pregnant. I was consistanlty losing weight, and I was eating properly and I did not have any morning sickness. My doc said that it was not a big deal, that the baby was just using up my fat stores. Ended up, at 38.5 weeks, the day before I had my son, I had only gained a total of 18lbs and bascially all of that was baby/placenta/water weight. He was 8lbs 7ozs! BTW, with my first pregnancy I gained 50 freaking lbs, so I was quite happy with only gaining 18! :o) Goodl luck with your pregnancy!

I gained 5 lb at 20 weeks, it was up and down before that. I was far from showing. Then the next 6 weeks I gained 12 lb ( I popped a bit at this time ) and my midwife got pretty worried and talked about sending me to a nutritionist! I eat healthy and exercise. Now at 29.5 weeks I lost 5 lb. So I can't really offer to much advice, this roller coaster weight stuff isn't too fun. But my baby girl is growing right on schedual, so everyone's body and pregnancy is different in the way it handles this change. Good Luck

I lost 4 lbs in the last 12 weeks. It is very normal and as long as the baby is growing and the doctor is comfortable with your weight, I wouldn't worry!
