Yaayyyy, lawlady!!! Congrats! Was the 288 your first blood test or not? I had my first at 4wks3days based on LMP and it was 84, then had it taken 2 days later and dr. said it looked great at 181. But, now seeing your numbers can anyone tell me if mine are low? I thought that as long as they double it is ok, but are mine ok for the time frame. Even the dr. said I am "very early" in pg....Thanks

oh, and I forgot to ask, do dr.'s usually schedule several blood tests? Mine just scheduled the first one, then the second to see that the hcg doubled. After that they just scheduled me for an ultrasound on the 18th where I will have the whole blood workup for hcg, progesterone, etc, etc....that is like 2 weeks away though!

congrats on those numbers girl they look great .yes doctors usualy do stef in the first trimester to make sure everything is on track ,

Actually what I was wondering is if my dr. should have scheduled me for more beta hcg tests (every 2 days) than the 2 she had me do? The first obviously confirmed the pregnancy and the second showed the levels doubliing, but do most dr.'s schedule more betas every 2 days to see that the levels KEEP doubling? Or am I just worrying too much ;-) My dr. didn't schedule another beta for me after the 2nd one and just scheduled me for the u/s in 2 weeks.

My doc is doing this because of previous mc, she knows I'm freaking out about this one so she's appeasing me.

My first blood test was tuesday and I was 3 weeks 5 days (so my results were actualy from then).
