Hi, i'm 19 and i'm currently 4 weeks pregnant. I'm extremely excited, i'm currently attending a university and doing great! My fiancee and i both have jobs. however, my mother has an issue with pregnancy before marriage. I don't know how she will react. I'm not scared only confused on how to actually bring it out... she'll be a bit upset, but regardless of what she states i'm happy, i simply would love for her to be involved ...any ideas??

Well I am in a slightly different position than you, but for my husbands mom, we got a photo album from a halmark store, and on the front it said "Great moms get promoted to Grandma" We had her open it as a gift, she was sooo excited when she saw it.

I just found out that I was PG two days ago and still havent told my mom...and Ive been married for almost 2 years..but im only 21 and it was definately a surprize. Plus she gets soo emotional when ANYONE says they are pg...let alone her only daughter. Im sure both of our moms will accept it after the initial shock though.

I think your mom will still be happy about being a grandma. She will probably see it as a gift regardless. She doesn't have to like the circumstances but she will love the fact she is going to be a grandma. I am pretty sure that will trump all! Good Luck!
