Diarreah can be a sign your pregnant. It all depends on the person though. I can tell you that when I first found out I was pregnant I had it non stop and non stop throwing up for like the first 3 months. I lost a lot of weight. Felt like I had the flu but worse. The best thing to do is to be careful what you eat and try not too eat big meals before going to work, depending on your work schedual. I got prescribed this medication called Diclectin and its only for pregnant women. It works miracles!!! I just dunno if they have that where you are. But its always best to ask your doctor.

I am 5w5d preggo, and I have had big time diarrhea since about 3 or 4 dpo. It happens almost everyday, and it's constant, like after everything I eat, I suddenly have to run to the bathroom to go. It's been interesting, but I would surely choose this over vomiting.

two questions:
1: does DPO mean days post ovulation?
2: the BRATT diet. What kind of tea does that mean?

Yes, DPO is days past ovulation. And, BRAT is Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast...these things are supposed to ease the diarrhea and stomach. And, I will say...when I eat the healthy stuff and avoid the bad stuff, my stomach thanks me. Anyway, here I am in the same boat as most of you....I just had a chemical pregnancy that ended VERY early in miscarriage last month. We tried again right away and I could be pregnant, but too soon to test...not due for AF until 2/13. For the past three days I've had very loose, watery stools w/ no other symptoms other than slight abdominal twinges here and there. I didn't have diarrhea w/ my daughter, but after reading this forum am way more hopeful that this could be it. HOPEFULLY I'm pregnant and it's not just food poisoning or a virus! Thank you for all of your detailed posts that have helped me find others who have this "pain in the rear" in common! :-)

Hi.. I have a question for everyone.
Me and My Boyfriend of 3 years have been trying to have a baby for the past year.
Lately i havent been hungry and have been experiencing Diarrhea for the past week or so, bad diarrhea, and stomach cramps.. I think i spotted VERY lightly for 2 days,and my period was due on the 17th and now its the 23rd and no period. Just for no reason at all i'll feel like im going to throw up, and i'm extreamly tired. Can anyone help?

those are pregnancy symptoms. take a test.

I took a pregnancy test and it showed up positive, i bought one from kroger. then to just make sure, i went to take one from Giant Eagle. and it turned up negitive.
And its the 27th and No period. and now im constipated.


What is your input on that?

Its been 2 more days. Have you taken another one? I personally think its a lot harder to get a false positive than false negative. I bought my preg test at the 99Cents store. and they worked. your first was positive. Im sure its right.

Also, for me I had crazy diarrhea at first for a week or so then it switched to constipation. Sounds like what you have going on as well.

hi i was due to have a periog on 24th but no sign i have also had diarrhea for 2 weeks with stomach cramps. i have had a couple of days on and off of being sick. i done 2 preg tests but the positive line is faint on both what do you think .

Ive always heard that even a faint line should be considered positive. It takes a lot of hormones to make one show up and you did.

Last month(Feb.)I had my period late, about 1 week late. This month I should have had my period by now but it hasnt come yet. I am having diarrhea or frequent bowel movements which seem to be very soft and yellowish in colour. I am wondering if that could be signs that I am pregant. I will be going to my doctor for a pregancy, but if anyone has experienced something similar please help. Thanks!

Oh yeah, i forgot to say that I have had some cramping before and while having a bowel movement, is that signs of pregnancy as well?

i think the best thing to do is to go to your family doctor and have a pregnancy test done, that will confirm both test plus your worries.
