most charts i have read list 19 - 7,340 as "NORMAL" value for 5 weeks - which i am over the top of that - but the 6 week value (i will be 6 weeks in 3 days) reads: 1,080 - 56,500 normal value range ------ going out of my mind - and of course it is a weekend!!!

Julie was your doctor concerned at all? I think i read on the m/c board that it took 100 hours for the last doubling? I know you are scared i would be too i beleive around 9 weeks or so dont quote me the levels do start to level out and not increase like they would in the 1st few weeks but you are 5 w and 3d so they would definitely continue to double at this point every 2 - 3 days. the progesterone i wouldnt worry so much about because they can supplement that and you said you have CL cyst so thats a good thing its producing all the necessary hormones you need right now i hope your next appt gives you better answers please keep us posted i am sorry i dont have any answers just wanted to offer some support.

Julie, I said a prayer for you and your baby. I just had my fourth baby 3 months ago and found out last Friday I was pregnant. I tested on July 18th with a FREP and it was negative so when we went to the doctor on July 27th I had an ultrasound because a few weeks earlier I had some pelvic pain, well they saw a thickening in my endometrial lining whch could indicate pregnancy and they did a test and it was positve. I just had my first hcg yesterday and it was 834 which is okay for 5 weeks but according to my lmp I am 6 weeks 1 day (yesterday). My OB did not seem concerned and they are repeating bw on Monday. I think I must have ovulated late due to just having a baby because the FREP test was neg on the day my period was due so I may actually only be 5 weeks or less. I am trying to hold on to that but I am so nervous for Monday. We can only try to be strong and keep the faith. Prayers are always appreciated.

thanks robyn & carly - i spoke to the RE today - and she said it's not over yet - but that she is extremely concerned. she also said time is the only way to tell what's going on. so i went for another round of BW today and she will call me 1st thing monday. she did also talk with me about natural vs. medical for what happens next and since i just went thru this in march - she doesn't recommend another d&c - - thanks for the support girls -

well not good news - the hcg's didn't double. less than 1% increase. my dh still wants us to go tuesday to see if there is a heartbeat (he's not one to give up) --- but i think it is pointless. uuuuuuuugh - i can't believe this is happening AGAIN. i don't want to be one to doubt God - but i have to say my faith is truly being tested at this moment - and i am not sure how i feel right now. ----------------- thanks ladies for your support and prayers. krissy good to see your mishap cleared itself up!

Julie what was the hcg you said last week it was 7700 that is great for 6 weeks from the charts I have seen it says it starts at 1080 I believe. I hope that things will work out for you. I am a wreck because I go tomorrow and I am so scared.

hi guys - yes this is the results from yesterday - progesterone increased (i'm on 100mg 3x day) from 19.4 to 24.9 but that is expected with the prometrium. the hcg however was 7618 (rounded to 7700) on aug 2 and 8365 aug 4 - i know this is the end - i am just scared to pieces of how long this is going to take to go thru - i had a d&c with the lil girl i lost in march - after waiting it out 9 days and nothing - no cramps or bleeding --- same as this time. but the RE said doing another D&C will increase the chances of scar tissue (each time you have a procedure on the uterus she said) and that CAn affect your ability to get pregnant next time. i know with a d&c you also must wait atleast a month to try again since the linning is thinner. so . . . . i guess i ahve to decide wait it out naturally - or they can give me some pills (mistoprofesine - SP?) which my Re said she will also give vicadin with as it is extremely scary and painful -- (doesn't sound like much of a choice there huh?) with heavy contraction like cramps etc. aren't there any other alternatives? i mean the outcome of losing this pregnancy is hard enough but now to be "on alert" for what comes next is awful too. thanks for listening to me girls.

Julie god forbid if this is the end when i had the D&E in February i did get scar tissue also but they did a hysteroscopy in May and removed it letting me start my IVF cycle so if you have to do this yes it can cause scar tissue but you can have it removed so it doesnt cause a future m/c. My RE told me that i had to remove it and it was definitely from the D&E. Also i had an HSG 1st and thats where they were able to see if there was scar tissue.
