I wouldnt worry so much about the number as long as they double. Did your doctor seem concerned? There is such a wide range of numbers that are in the normal range. Good luck.

As long as they are going up (doubling every 2 days) there should not be a problem. Like Micorazon said, numbers vary by a lot so I wouldn't worry about too much! Good Luck!

The same exact thing happened to me!! I had a miscarriage in 2005, and now I'm pregnant again! I am currently 10 weeks. When I found out, I was 5 weeks. My hcg levels were low. I think that were around 200. They redid the levels and told me that as long as they go up, I would be okay.. They did end up doubling!! And now everything is fine! Have you gotten an u/s yet? I've already gotten 3. My first one when I was 4 weeks. At 6 weeks I saw the heartbeat. I have my next appointment today. Hopefully, this time I will HEAR the heartbeat!!
But I am sure you and your baby will be fine!! I know how nerve-wracking it can be!! I'm dying to go into my 2nd trimester so I can stop worrying!!

I've been thinking and I'm totally against knowing the hcg numbers. I'm in my 5th wk.. I have no idea what my numbers are and by the time I see my dr, my numbers will have leveled off anyway. My son is now ten and I was never told what his numbers were either. I think knowing the numbers just adds more stress.. are they too low, are they doubling like they should, etc.. if it's meant to be it will be. Don't get me wrong, I'm just as worried as the next person.. I'm scared to death something will go wrong, but I've realized that even if something is going to go wrong, there's nothing I can do to prevent it.. and watching it happen with the numbers would just make it even harder.

I agree that the whole numbers thing can be stressful but with my 1st pregnancy i had a miscarriage but didn't know until a coulple of weeks later. If i had been getting my hcg levels done early on I would have known right away something was wrong instead of thinking everything was fine and telling people i was pregnant. I don't know if it would have made things any easier but at least i could have started the healing process a lot sooner.

Well I have to take that back. The last couple of days I've been really worried, I think it's from reading everyone's horror stories on here LOL. I went today and had my first hcg level drawn.. Now I'm hooked and I can't wait til Wed. to do it again!

my weekend was good but i woke up today and had a little brown spotting like i did last time so my doc had me come in and do the hcg level again so they can compare them to last monday's resutls.. last week my numbers went from 773 to 1995 so there going up like they should but they still seem low to me.. maybe i'm not as far as they think though.... i hope n pray!!!

I'm 5w, 6d and miscarried in Oct. Saturday I had blood drawn for hcg and today I did too, so I will find out this week. I debated having them checked too, but didn't want to tell people and then have something go wrong again. I wish everyone the best!!

well the levels were 60000 she said that is normal then the next day i had some cramping like i needed to go poo but i couldn't then today my boobs weren't really all that sore... so i don't know what to think my u/s is tuesday so i'm keeping my fingers crossed too.... thanks guys!!!

I havent gotten my hcg levels tested because I just found out that I'm 5 weeks. When is the earliest you can get an ultrasound?
