I've never heard that Meena, I've always been told its perfectly safe in the first 2 trimesters. And airlines only disapprove in your last trimester incase you go into early Labour.

I flew at 10wks and at 29wks, Dr. said it was fine both times. As long as you're not having any complications it should be okay. If you really want to put any fears to rest give a quick call to your Dr. Take care, have a safe trip!

Actually you wont be able to fly the last weeks of pregnancy but other than that I see no reason why you can;t.

Just remember to bring lots of water and plenty of food. Also get up and walk around as much as you can on the plane to maintain good circulation. Wear comfortable clothing!
