Medication During Pregnancy

I have fibroids ( small ones) on the walls of the uterus. My Doc has prescribed Progesterone capsules? Do I really need these? I have no spotting and am otherwise having a normal pregnancy.

If you are questioning what your doctor has prescribed, get a second opinion. You can get as many opinions as you want until you feel good about the answers.

Try searching the website called motherisk.com. They operate out of a Toronto hospital; you can call to ask about any drug and they will tell you about studies done with regard to taking a particular drug during pregnancy. It is really an amazing service! Hope this helps.
