Hi I'm hoping that someone can give me some support or advice. I'm just over 6 weeks and i've had some spotting but only once in the morning and sometimes once at night. I've has a blood test and the numbers didn't jump as high as they should have, but did go up a significant amount now i'm scheduled for an u/s. Has this ever happened to anyone before? I'm getting a little stressed out. Thanks for your help.

if there is no cramping, I would not worry about it too much....a lot of woman spot during the first trimester and even throughout their pregnancies..... I have spotted a few times alread (I am 23w) and my doctor just told me as long as it is just spotting, with no cramping, no contractions and not enough to soak a pad, it is fine and nothing to worry about......easy to say not to worry about it, but we all do :)

If you get severe bleeding with cramping, call your dr immediately. I think that a little spotting is normal. If in doubt, call your dr. Good luck!
